Song writing is actually all about imagery. It’s the imagery that creates feelings and emotions from a song. Creating images in people’s minds with words and music. The canvas for a songwriter is silence. Schelli your canvas is darkness. Using light, imagery, and sound to create an emotion. As a writer I know what images my work creates in my own mind, but you are never quite sure what other people see. I have to say we “clicked” the first time we spoke about doing this video. The effort was truly a collaborative one and I am nothing short of “in awe” with the work you have done.

There is a certain ownership that a writer has with his music. It is obvious that the song is very personal to me. It took trust to turn my song over to someone else and have them create with it. This was a very memorable experience and I am very proud of this piece. Your artistry truly added to my music.
